Job Overview:
The Implementation Consultant/Activation Coach is a role in which you manage remote implementations of Concurs Premier Standard Expense service and extended services for North American-based clients. The Activation Coach consults with a variety of Concur and client resources to identify solutions for each implementation. The Activation Coach is responsible for managing all project deliverables, completing implementations within an aggressive timeframe; while consistently delivering exceptional levels of work quality and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage overall implementation -- activities include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling and conducting project calls
- Configuration call: review timelines and key milestones, understanding and analyzing client business requirements, provide consultative advice on how to optimally set up the Expense service via the Setup Wizard, provide access to the Deployment Toolkit, and facilitate processing of appropriate system setup forms and address client questions.
- Workflow call: review submission, approval and accounting processes and Processor and Payment Manager tools.
- Administrative call: review Company Card Administrator and Concur Reporting tools, provide Reporting and Support registration assistance.
- Miscellaneous project calls as required.
- Manage third-party and Concur integrations (e.g. – credit cards, direct reimbursement to employees, direct payments to vendors).
- Train clients and prepare for deployment of service to employees – all within defined timeframe of completion.
- Deliver training/knowledge to clients around imports and extracts in/out of Concur’s services. If applicable, collaborate with assigned Concur technical consultant to ensure set-up of FTP/PGP for clients and deliver training on imports/extracts.
- Successfully manage multiple, simultaneous implementations by continually motivating clients, ensuring project timelines are met and client and/or partner issues are addressed while adhering to Concurs Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Proactively provide status updates to client team, including Executive Sponsors, to ensure successful and timely implementation.
- Meet or Exceed requirements for deployment productivity and quality metrics.
- Communicate client status to Implementation Services Manager, consistently and regularly.
- Manage credit card feed/activation/migration process.
- Transition client to Support.
- Detail all implementation activities in internal tracking tools in a timely manner.
- Accurately track project time allocation on a daily basis.
- Escalate issues to designated team contacts and/or cross-functional teams in a timely manner to ensure implementation issues are addressed early.
- Quickly ramp-up on new releases and product functionality to ensure successful implementation of these features for clients.
- Collaborate with other members of the implementation team to develop and deliver web-based training/presentations covering a range of service topics.
- Contribute to special projects as needed to ensure successful service deployments, improved internal processes/methodologies and on-going retention/satisfaction of client base.
- Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
Qualifications
Education, Experience & Training :
- BS/BA or a combination of experience and education/training equivalent to a four year college degree.
- Previous experience in a role directly interacting with clients, preferably related to implementation or project management.
- Prior experience implementing, administering, or supporting Concur Expense is a strong plus and would be considered in lieu of client-facing experience.
- Proven ability to foster internal/external relationships, overcome objections and motivate clients.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and client management skills.
- Proven ability to comfortably discuss accounting and financial concepts with varying levels of positions within the clients organization.

- Strong working knowledge of software and technology – specifically around web technology, financial system integration and Excel a strong plus.
