HR Operations Lead/Manager

Job Description

• Own and execute the Apptio Onboarding Experience from offer acceptance stage through week one of employment:
• Immigration : Responsible for Apptio’s US immigration process, working directly with hiring managers, recruiting, outside counsel and candidates on the work Visa process.
• Background Checks : Facilitate the process with our background check vendor and use judgment to evaluate and/or escalate complicated situations.
• I-9 Verification : Own I-9 process for all new employees, including completing I-9s, working with outside counsel on remote employee I-9 completion, and acting as point person for all questions and processes related to I-9 verification.
• Day One New Hire Orientation : Provide high-touch on-boarding experience for new Apptians. This position will own the Apptio Orientation process from A-Z as well as facilitate our semi-monthly onboarding sessions for US hires. Drive continuous efforts to scale and optimize.
• Compliance Training : Assign compliance training for new and existing employees. Track and report on completion rates, as well as develop compliance escalation policy.
• Own and execute the Contractor engagement process:
• Partner with Recruiting to drive improvements to the contractor onboarding workflow, including cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, and IT teams.
• Process contractor hires in Workday HCM system.
• Track contractor end dates and manage renewal and/or termination processes.
• Partner within and outside HR (for example, Legal, Corporate Communications, Recruiting, HR Ops and managers.
• Work on a variety of HR initiatives, as a team member or owner of initiative.
