PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Our guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.

The Business Functional Manager position will report to the head of Business Infrastructure and will have direct accountability for developing and standing up key infrastructure processes for the efficient operation of PVSI Control. These key processes include:

  • Resource planning: Develop ongoing discipline and methodology to forecast resource needs; assess the appropriate resource type and enable the most efficient and effective staffing strategy across the Control organization
  • Resource procurement: In alignment with the resource planning process, implement a single, centralized process to administer the acquisition of PVSI Control resources (FTE as well as third party sourced), global sourcing and contract management for third party resources, evaluation and management of external consultant/contractor relationships
  • Financial management: In partnership with Finance, design and implement appropriate AU structure; quarterly financial forecasting; implementation of ‘forecast vs actual’ analysis with the Control Executive and each of his Control Leaders; implement expense discipline routines across PVSIC, continuously attaining cost efficiencies without compromising effective risk management
  • Initiative prioritization and management: Stand up a comprehensive process by which PVSI Control’s senior leadership will evaluate and decision initiatives to be managed by GPMO resources; act in an internal governance capacity to bring vetted requests and decisions through the GPMO process; ensure a full “portfolio” view of risk/control activities across PVSI (those sponsored by the CE organization as well as by PVSI business unit leaders) to ensure a coordinated; coherent view of key risk management projects and initiatives

The Business Functional Manager will build the PVSI Control forecasting capability, govern the process and provide the centralized services to streamline and maintain control over resource acquisition through the various sourcing channels.
