SUMMARY

Hulu’s Platform Services Product team is seeking an experienced team leader to lead our Metadata Platform Product team. In this role, you will lead a team of product managers who are building the future vision for Hulu’s metadata and content ingestion platform. The Metadata Platform team will define the roadmap for content ingestion, metadata from partners and third parties, content classification, and tools for our operations teams, business partners, and external suppliers. You are skilled at empowering senior teams, and helping them grow in their careers. You have a track record of constructing and executing complex, interlocking roadmaps, and have proven skills in working both inside and outside the organization to deliver results for viewers, partners, and internal teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the roadmap and execution of the high-level roadmap for launch of features across partner metadata ingestion, third-party data acquisition, artwork, and content management tools
• Take a tooling-first approach to build the capabilities required for operations, business teams, and partners to operate the content platform
• Continuously improve the technical delivery of Hulu’s asset library to Hulu’s ever-expanding subscriber base
• Collaborate with partner management, operations, and engineering to produce actionable plans to support the launch of key content features
• You will own defining the OKRs that measure the success and quality of content ingestion services at Hulu
• Take an active role in continuously improving our planning and development processes

WHAT TO BRING

• 6+ years of product management experience in a media technology company in the live or on-demand streaming space
• 2+ years experience leading a team
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (CS, CE, EE), business, or equivalent experience
• You understand the landscape of on-demand and live video, identify trends in the industry to ensure Hulu is utilizing the most modern infrastructure, tools, and workflows to deliver our service reliably at scale
• Bias to action, and a battle-tested ability to break down work and identify the highest value, lowest-effort items
• Detailed knowledge of Agile development practices and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact features at scale.

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Direct content operations experience with an OTT platform, video distributor, or fulfillment facility
• Experience delivering a CMS/DAM product
• A robust understanding of how live and on-demand content is delivered via OTT platforms
• Product or Project Management certification is a plus, but not required
