Job Description

Mission of Business Efficiency (BE) team is to provide support to Delivery and R&D teams regarding tools and process.

We are exposed to production and use of physical secure documents (passports, ID cards), digital ID documents, biometric devices, mobile devices, cryptography, online authentication schemes and online identity management. Our goal is to turn the idea of a modern the e-government into a reality

As a member of BE team you will contribute to help teams to deliver tailor-made solutions to governments and citizens all around the globe. Our products are based on Java EE/Spring backend and web apps with combination of .NET desktop and mobile Android/iOS applications. We rely on deep use of cryptography, biometry and custom HW devices.

Responsibilities:

You will have to support teams on daily basis (Jenkins job creation and configuration, tools access,tools usages/rules, token, configuration files)

You will have to monitor and maintain environments (servers online or not, disk space, ...)

You will have to handover knowledge to the teams, define necessary guidelines/rules/templates for the teams and push best practices

You will have to help identify upcoming requirement and evaluate cost, impact and risk of setting up and maintaining environment for project needs to ensure team is not affected

You will have to optimize and constantly improve our CI/CD process via continuous self-education on DevOps topics

Your main goal will be to keep development team as efficient as possible on delivering frequent product updates.

> Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field

> Experience Level:

Several years of experience as software developer (minimum 5 years)

or Several years of experience as system admin (minimum 5 years)

or Several years of experience as integrator (minimum 5 years)

Perfect fit would be a mix of all 3 cursus.

> Competences:

Technical /functional skills:

• Administration of Jenkins CI or other build automation
• System Administration of Windows, Linux (RedHat/Debian)
• Basic knowledge and understanding of PKI implementation (server side)
• Administrative use of Virtualization Tools (e.g. Hyper-V, VirtualBox) - to be able deploy and manage/administrate virtual environments
• Shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell/Batch)
• Containers (ideally on Docker)
• User knowledge of version control system (ideally Git or Mercurial) and build tools (maven, gradle, .Net)
• User knowledge of Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager

Other skills (where applicable):

• Experience with OOP development (e.g. .NET C#, Java EE etc.)
• Experience with code analysis tools such as SonarQube, HP Fortify
• Groovy / Jenkins Pipelines DSL
• Nexus IQ Server
• Confluence & JIRA
• Kubernetes, Terraform or other orchestration system
• Scrum experience
