SUMMARY

Hulu’s Ad Ops Solutions team is seeking an Ad Ops Solutions Manager who will be a valuable addition to our team. As Ad Ops Solutions Manager at Hulu you will be responsible for growing and managing Hulu’s team of Ad Ops Solutions Specialists primarily focused on providing outstanding service in the monitoring of ad sales campaigns for accuracy and efficiency, ensuring we uphold Hulu’s premium ad experience. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Ad Ops Solutions, this role will design accurate training documentation and processes, as well as partner closely with various members of Sales and Ad Ops Management to improve our ad tools and reporting systems and operationalize our quality control processes. The right person for this role is both goal and process orientated, and while technical, has excellent internal and cross departmental communication skills. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Establish and develop a team that will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring the accuracy of campaign launches within the Ad Operations trafficking and execution processes for the west coast and mid-west business.
• Create a data-driven approach that will formulate reporting and insights into where our development opportunities exist in order to foster additional training needs amongst the Sales Operations teams.
• Organize metrics for the Sales organization to pinpoint process-related inefficiencies, measure accuracy, and celebrate the Operation team’s success rates.
• Collaborate with Sales & Ad Ops Management to ensure all aspects of campaign planning and setup, management, and creative implementation are upheld with efficient processes.
• Identify process and product inefficiencies and highlight ways to improve operational workflow within the “ad journey”.
• Manage UAT testing initiatives for new ad products and feature enhancements in support of Ad Ops, Product and Engineering
• Maintain proper usage and functionality of internal sandbox/test tool environments and debugging tools for testing and investigation purposes.
• Use insights and learnings to help drive awareness for product development, feature enhancements and bug fixes.

WHAT TO BRING

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital Ad Sales Operations
• At least 2 years of experience managing or mentoring multiple individuals
• Detailed comprehension and experience in trafficking digital video and other formats, including VAST and VPAID
• Experience with a video ad server (FreeWheel, Doubleclick for Video, etc.)
• Expert problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent client and interpersonal skills, with a flexible attitude
• Deep knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with experience and comfort presenting in front of large groups

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Familiarity with Flash, JavaScript, HTML5 or CSS
• Experience in a queue management/ticketing system (JIRA)
