As the first dedicated Executive Recruiter at Postmates, you will play a critical role in growing our leadership team (director-level and above). You will be responsible for ensuring that we hire high-quality candidates for critical leadership roles at Postmates. You will run the recruitment process from start to finish, including working with current leadership to define required skill sets, researching and mapping the market, sourcing and screening candidates, and closing offers. You will also manage the Postmates brand from a recruiting standpoint, by telling the story of the Postmates' mission and culture. This role requires that you be highly proactive in sourcing and recruiting the best -- posting a job description and seeing what happens won’t come close to cutting it.
Responsibilities
- Partner with VP of Talent Acquisition and other recruiting leadership to scale and evolve the Executive Recruiting function at Postmates
- Become the dedicated advisor for Postmates' senior leadership and executive team members for all leadership hiring needs
- Manage searches from start to finish for senior leadership roles across a variety of teams, both tech. and non-tech.
- Closely manage executive candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring they have positive and successful candidate experience throughout
- Consistently research the market to discover top talent that could be a great fit for Postmates; build and manage a pool of top passive talent for both current and future opportunities
- Create and maintain detailed recruiting reports and present to current leadership
Qualifications
- 8+ years of recruiting experience, particularly recruiting executives and senior-level hires. A combination of executive search firm + in-house experience is strongly preferred. Experience in a hyper-growth startup environment is a bonus
- Design customized and executable hiring plans while building excellent relationships with hiring leaders and key stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills, executive presence and strong sense of judgment
- Experience working with many different teams to scale and refine the recruiting process
- Exposure to multiple recruiting tools and networks
- Strong work ethic and willingness to make the extra effort to achieve hyper-aggressive growth goals with a sense of urgency
