What You'll Do

We are looking to identify a Systems Engineer capable of leading Tier 1 SP in Egypt and Africa.

You will be responsible for driving the day to day relationship with customer, end-to-end architecture insertion working closely with the Sales Account Manager.

This means close interlock with central account team, overlay and engineering teams.

This is an ideal position for someone who has a proven track record in working with customers, Business Unit and Service Provider.

Responsibilities of the role are:

• You will become a recognized an architect on SP solutions (including hardware and software).
• You will build strong relationships with technical and sales leadership team

• Provides consultative support in the WAN and Datacenter transformation of our customer.
• Handle labs, demos, CPOC (Customer Proof Of Concept).
• Lead opportunities till completion. Demonstrates ownership of complex projects / responsibilities and works to drive the project path and explores alternatives when problems arise.

Cisco Pre-sales delivers the message about the vital role the network plays to our customers and partners. New demands on the network are calling for new solutions: SDN, Edge Computing, SD-WAN, automation and, more importantly, secure networks that can sense and carry out security threats.

Who You Are

• Ideally you will have an Engineering level degree plus 2 to 4 years related experience.
• IP routing skills
• Ideally you will have a Minimum software (ex: Python, JAVA), Systems (Linux) and virtualization
• Software skills: ability to develop scripts and include our solution in automation tools.
• Your always willing to learn given the transformation are going though: Automation (ML, AI), software (Virtualization, containerization)
• Your effective in Presentation Skills, Negotiations and Influence Skills
• You will need to have strong Teamwork effectiveness, demonstrated in past experience with presales, sales or post-sales services functions
• You will need to speak Arabic native speaking combined with a good English fluency. French would be a plus
