Qualifications
The successful candidate has a passion for learning about the technology needs of our various teams, identifying gaps, and executing the best possible solutions. Experience should include large-scale IT project and program execution, as well as familiarity with marketing workflows.
The ideal candidate is someone who has prior experience delivering solutions as digital marketing software or marketing technology software such as Digital Asset Management, campaign management tools, social media management, etc. The specialist will interface with a variety of business partners, along with a tech team to ensure well-managed execution of processes and deliverables. They will also closely align with legal and data privacy teams to ensure that Pearson meets all corporate, international, and contractual standards.
Our ideal candidate is more than just the software; he or she knows people. The right person has a clear understanding of Pearson’s overall mission and is ready to apply technology toward that goal in a way everyone can understand. High-level communication and presentation skills as well as impressive data analysis abilities make this possible.
With a background in both business and IT, and a passion for marketing technology trends, our ideal candidate is comfortable educating others on the latest technology, which helps make transitions to new platforms and tools smoother for all key stakeholders by speaking the language of both marketers and hard-core technologists.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
5 years of marketing technology experience in a digital marketing role or equivalent
3 years of experience in delivering solutions through the software development lifecycle in one or more of the following areas: Digital Marketing, Marketing Automation, CRM, Marketing Campaign Management, Content Mgmt/Digital Asset Mgmt or Project Management
2 years of experience in gathering project and/or technical requirements
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Workzone, Percolate, Brandmaker, Sprinklr or similar tools
Understands omni-channel customer journeys, with emphasis on digital
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Sprinklr, GA360, GTM
