SAP Digital Commerce builds and runs SAP’s e-commerce capabilities. Core of our strategy is to enable customers to discover try and buy solutions and services in online self-service. SAP Digital Commerce digitizes the selling process by providing tailored and automated customer communications to the support the customer’s decision-making process in a low-touch touch, digital fashion.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Portfolio & Business Development Specialist will be responsible for tracking the funnel of partner solutions, onboarding support, and Portfolio Marketing (mapping & merchandizing) in SAP Digital Commerce properties. This role will manage the portfolio/product funnel, prioritize those partner offerings with a revenue generating business case, and report on execution process. The ideal candidate has a mix of marketing and business development skills, enjoys being hands-on with tools, and is a people person (can work with anyone!). You have experience with marketing program management, but a good handle on business. As part of a highly collaborative team, you will not only support the strategic focus but also bring process improvement ideas to enhance operational efficiency.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Work with internal and external (partner) stakeholders to technically onboard their offerings to SAP Digital Commerce properties
  • Host and execute partner enablement sessions for offerings ready to launch on SAP Digital Commerce properties
  • Work with Portfolio Marketing colleagues to segment partner offerings and map for merchandizing and tagging in eCommerce marketplaces – including any GTM support required for a strong launch.
  • Maintain and track of all the GTM tactics and support SAP App Center provides to partners. This includes, but not limited to keeping regular cadence with key SAP App Center stakeholders.
  • Be Agile and prioritize based on funnel performance (every 2 weeks)
  • Nurture opportunities from a variety of sources and stakeholders
  • Talk partners through the onboarding process with great customer service and customer success support.
  • Comfort with technical tools/eCommerce – we will train you, but there is a need to technically demo the tools

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Must be a recent graduate of Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Sound business acumen
  • Previous B2b experience desired
  • Hands-on experience with partnering models desired
  • Experience with customer service, customer success or business development
  • Understanding of program management for web marketing programs
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Agile
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good on the phone, can hold the attention of a room!
  • Excellent presentation, verbal/written communication skills – English language required.
