SAP Digital Commerce builds and runs SAP’s e-commerce capabilities. Core of our strategy is to enable customers to discover try and buy solutions and services in online self-service. ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for setting up, deploying, and managing automated acquisition, conversion and retention/upsell programs in its marketing automation tools. This role will also manage the lead routing process to ensure appropriate leads are sent to the inside sales team. The ideal candidate is a marketing professional who is passionate about lead nurture, automation, and enjoys being hands-on with marketing automation platforms. You have a proven record in maintaining and improving marketing automation processes, excellent reporting skills, and improving the performance of marketing programs. You’ve ideally worked for a SaaS company and have driven try-to-buy conversion and post-purchase adoption. As part of our highly collaborative team, you will not only support the strategic focus but also bring creative ideas to help convert leads and enhance the operational efficiency.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Implement nurture programs and campaign strategies, working closely with the product sales and content teams
  • Build, execute and maintain marketing programs in SAP Marketing Cloud
  • Segment database for effective campaign targeting
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance
  • Identify opportunities to develop and enhance marketing programs through A/B and/or multivariate testing to increase response rates
  • Managing data sources and maintaining clean database
  • Manage lead routing processes
  • Manage solutions that are integrated with the marketing tech stack
  • Coordinate with product leads, design teams and internal/external agencies to ensure creative assets are developed
  • Ensure compliance with data and commercial communication regulations – GDPR, etc.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Must be a recent graduate of Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Sound understanding of marketing automation, lead nurture, and email marketing experience in the SaaS industry (ideally B2B)
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Marketing Cloud or Market or any other marketing automation platform
  • Previous B2b experience desired
  • Experience working with product management to develop seamless, trigger-based messaging (product alerts, nurture, upsell, etc.) based on product usage
  • Strong understanding of workflow processes and systems within marketing and sales cycles
  • Strong understanding of A/B and multivariate testing
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Basic skill and knowledge of HTML
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
