The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 5 HR Agents in Guadalajara, Mexico who answer HR-related questions through cases and chats from employees. This person will be responsible for ensuring the team is fully staffed (hiring replacements as needed), and managing scheduling (coordinating vacations, time off, etc.). Additionally, they will provide training and guidance on responses, the use of the MS Dynamics Tool, and handle research, metrics reporting, and dealing with escalations. The Supervisor will also be responsible to ensure documentation is in place, and knowledge database articles are prepared as appropriate. The Agents will report directly to the Supervisor.
It's a dynamic environment, which is never boring and is HR's face to the employees. The pace is usually very busy, with spikes during the year when we have certain initiatives such as our Annual Review Cycle. Teamwork is critical, and partnering with other internal groups such as Payroll, Benefits, and IT is critical as we are all working to support the employees of HP. Continuous process improvement and standardization are important globally, so collaborating with the other regional supervisors is key.
