Summary of Job Description

As (Senior) Digital Strategy Consultant you support the growth of the Cognizant Digital Strategy practice. This position is within the Business Excellence team within this practice, which focuses on assessing, designing and delivering (digital) technology-driven transformation and operational excellence consulting. Subjects vary from (IT) Target Operating Model design, Robotic Process Automation strategy and implementation, process design & improvement, Lean Six Sigma, digital technologies such as analytics, block chain and conversational AI. Day to day activities include roadmap design, business case setup, program governance design, requirements collection, solution design, stakeholder analysis, IT landscape assessment, communications planning, client interviews, workshop facilitation and more.

There you will kick-start and boost the capabilities of IT and people to contribute to the corporate strategy and goals, supported by concepts and prototypes.

Key Accountabilities

· As part of expanding our footprint we are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Consultant with rock-solid, proven leadership, analytical process-minded and client-centred track record having experience in agile and waterfall environments. The individual is a recognized thought associate who easily becomes the trusted advisor to our clients and facilitates the implementation of the project in line with agreed success criteria utilizing BPM, Lean, RPA, PMP, Agile, Scrum and/or other industry standard methodologies.

· The role requires in general mastery organizational and facilitation skills in an application development environment, process automation, process design, process re-engineering, polished communication / stakeholders management skills and strong, proven experience in an onsite/offshore model and board room client level.

· On the day-to-day job the Senior Business Analyst / Consultant will work closely with the onsite teams across Europe (mainly Czech, Belgium, and potentially not limited) and offshore delivery teams, defining process automation requirements, supporting business cases and process re-engineering though consulting, as well as any knowledge management with development teams. He will have to ensure effective communication between the onsite and offshore teams and the client stakeholders.

· Medium enterprise deployment experience in complex heterogeneous environments.

· Excellent influencing and facilitation skills, in particular problem solving/troubleshooting activities.

· Ability to work effectively under pressure in a resilient and flexible manner

· Is capable of becoming recognised as an expert within Cognizant and can develop this profile within the client organisation

Knowledge

• Experience of on-site / off-shore delivery model
• Full software development lifecycle experience
• Strong affinity with new technologies / digital native and capability to connect IT and Business worlds, RPA strongly preferred
• Understanding of and experience in technology trends (within a certain industry)
• Understanding/certification of PMP, PRINCE2 and ITIL processes and application development methodologies,
• Strong experience with MS Tools: MS Project, Visio, Powerpoint, Word, Excel
• English language skills (written, spoken) a must have, Dutch and French (preferred), Czech or other European language skills an advantage
