Business Partner / Regional DACH Lead– Cloud (d/m/f)
Work location: Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich or Duisburg
Cognizant’s strong in-region growth has opened an excellent opportunity for a Business Partner to join our Technology Services business group in Germany to lead the hyperscale growth in cloud business. We believe that Cognizant is given a great opportunity to differentiate itself in the market on the back of strong references, offerings and an end-to-end digital transformation play.
Cognizant also has strong partnership with SAP, AWS, Microsoft, Informatica, DellEMC, HDS to drive a joint GTM strategy to expand marketshare.
Role and Responsibilities - Responsible to build credibility and drive market share for Cloud services encompassing both Infrastructure and Application transformation services completed
- Connects with CxO ́s in the DACH region to be able to identify and create opportunities
- To consultatively engage and win new business in key vertical sectors (e.g. Banking and Financial Services, Insurance, Communications & Media, Products & Resources) within existing and new clients
- Drives sales and deliver market making wins across a portfolio of Next Generation IT services driven by Cloud First strategy. Our offerings include Digital Workplace, Hybrid Cloud, Data Center transformation, DevOps, SAP migration to Cloud
- Contribute to the development of offerings by working with Offerings and Solution teams also with stakeholders e.g. Delivery and Pre-sales
- Demonstrate pursuit rigor and planning by preparing and publishing appropriate go-to-market plan, prospect communications, campaign plans, proposals, pursuit plans etc.
- Develop and manage excellent working partnerships with alliance partners and intermediaries relevant to your marketplace and services.
- Own and manage P&L of the region with ability to understand business models, P&L and pricing sheets and lead commercial discussions / negotiations with the customers
- Lead and motivate a regional team
Your Skills and Experience - A successful & strong track record in winning new clients/logos in the Cloud, Infrastructure and Technology outsourcing space
- Good understanding of the Public Cloud ecosystem and its application to Technology and Business Transformation
- A successful track record in achieving large scale and annual TCV sales quotas with experience in shaping and leading pursuits with Cloud Transformation value proposition
- Good knowledge of one or more vertical market and key drivers
- Experience with onsite/offshore model and working in a multi-cultural environment
- Possess excellent communication skills and demonstrates proven capability to build relationships at all levels, especially at C-level
- Consultative sales style, creative thinking with a pragmatic approach
- Results orientated, self-starter and highly focused
- Strong foundational background in solution architecting and/or delivery would be desirable
- Excellent People manager
- Business fluent German and English language skills are a must have, willingness to travel is pre-requisite
