Description

The Evaluation Systems (ES) group of Pearson provides full-service design, development, and administration of standards-based educator licensing assessment programs on behalf of state licensing agencies across the country. Evaluation Systems’ mission is to provide assessment and related preparation and support products and services that ensure qualified educators are identified for the important roles of teaching students and leading schools.

We are now hiring for a temporary CBEST paper-based Assistant Test Administrator (ATA) to join our team. The position of Assistant Test Administrator (ATA) offers the potential for earning additional income outside your full time work and the opportunity to work in a highly regarded program of teacher evaluation.

Please note that this is a temporary position for the September 21, 2019 paper-based test administration only.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour .

The Assistant Test Administrator (ATA) is responsible for signing in approximately 30 examinees, reading test directions, and distributing and collecting test materials for those examinees. The ATA will also monitor the examinees and maintain test security in his or her section at all times during the test session. The ATA reports to and is supervised by the Chief Test Administrator (CTA).

Qualifications

The following is a list of the ATA's major responsibilities: These activities will be presented in more detail in the ATA Checklist, which you will receive prior to the test date.

• Become thoroughly familiar with and adhere to the CBEST testing procedures and policies.
• Assist in site setup as requested.
• Attend the training session.
• Sign in examinees and distribute test materials.
• Monitor examinees to ENSURE MAXIMUM SECURITY and minimum disturbance during the testing day.
• Collect, account for, and return all testing and training materials.
