Job Description
WeWork is looking for a digital product marketing manager and content strategist who has the experience and vision to set a new bar for our web properties. The marketing manager will lead the requirement gathering, cross-functional coordination, building out, QA, and deployment of mobile-friendly web properties for the WeCompany in EMEA as well as WeWork web pages and landing pages. Our ideal candidate will have deep expertise in mobile development, SEO, project management, product management, content strategy, and web analytics. This role reports to the EMEA Growth Marketing Director and is ideally based at our London Headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development of a new information architecture and user flows for our web properties-- that make sense for our target audiences and offerings.
- Work with the content marketing manager to ensure that web content is displayed in the way that most delights users, is easy to find, boosts SEO, and converts healthily.
- Hire and manage a web dev and design agency to create redesign microsites that support key segments and new business line pilots.
- Develop new self-service landing page templates based on functional requirements that you gather from the marketing and inside sales teams.
- Create an A/B testing program. Get buy-in from cross-functional vendors and implement needed testing products and tracking.
- Build a plan to deliver account-based and personalized web experiences to visitors.
- Partner with internal analytics and data engineering teams to develop a data strategy roadmap to fully optimize and operationalize web acquisition.
- Partner with the Director of Paid Media to align our SEO & SEM strategies and priorities, developing landing pages that serve both channels.
- Oversee our SEO agency
- Establish KPIs for all web properties. Track performance and course-correct when necessary to ensure marketing plans are delivering expected business outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of building B2B SaaS or ecommerce websites from scratch.
- Experience with APIs and other data extraction/load methodologies.
- Deep digital experience through technical, content strategy, and brand lenses.
- Wordpress configuration and admin experience.
- Expertise in managing web design and development agency SOWs.
- Experience with the roadmapping and project management of websites using agile methodology.
- Experience building process for, and running, conversion optimization and A/B tests.
- Mastery of modern web analytics and testing tools. A POV on which tools are worth their weight and what the tradeoffs of using one over another might be.
- A proactive communication style and knack for driving projects through to completion.
- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, Marketing, or related major. MBA preferred.
- Mastery of the following tech stack: Wordpress, JIRA, Google Analytics/360, Salesforce, Unbounce, Moz (or similar), HRrefs (or similar), SplashThat (or similar), Google Sheets & Slides, Looker or Tableau (or similar), VisualIQ (or other multi-touch attribution software), Marketo (or similar), hrefs (or similar)
BONUS POINTS
- Experience managing scrum teams of remote front-end engineers.
- HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript skills.
- Web and/or graphic design skills.
- Experience selecting and integrating Wordpress plugins.
- Experience leading design thinking workshops (IDEO/Google Ventures style).
