Job Description

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Apps Support Sr. Analyst, AVP for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Provide Level 2 application production support service for Futures and OTC Clearing business on the software used for BAU functions, including analysis, development and modification of application software. Engage with stakeholders on operational issues and investigate production environment to understand application behavior to identify and resolve potential issues. Host and run Crisis management calls during production outages for assigned software applications. Prioritize and channel efforts to restore production function/processing to normal as quickly as possible while providing the business updates on progress and issue resolution. Apply knowledge of Exchange traded derivatives business and Clearing platforms and post trade derivatives processing to answer queries from stakeholders and clients and operate on AS/400, IBM I series and Unix platform implementations. Troubleshoot complex queries and stored procedures used by applications utilizing SQL, DB2 and data structure interaction skills. Coordinate with stock exchange technology teams to troubleshoot real time problems raised by operations/clearing business. Use RPG (ILE, 400), Free-format RPG, Embedded SQL, SQL/400, CL/400, COBOL/400, application implementations and troubleshoot batch and shell scripts. Program/script small automations required for BAU work efficiency improvement to reduce manual activity and improve team productivity. Use post trade derivatives processing platforms Clearvision, GMI and Abinitio. Administer set up on platform monitoring Geneos/ITRS and configure gateways to application log files and databases to provide real time application health and stability information.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, IT Analyst, Software Development Analyst or related position involving Applications layout, architecture, technologies used in Full Trade life cycle. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full term of experience must include: ITIL Incident management, Change management and Problem management; IBM Midrange machine AS/400 Work management, maintenance and performance tuning; Programming with RPG (ILE, 400), Free-format RPG, Embedded SQL, SQL/400, CL/400, COBOL/400, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Shell Scripting; Data structure and RDBMS; IBM DB2/400, SQL Server (2008 R2, 2012), Oracle; Monitoring Toolkit ITRS/Geneos; Stream GMI (SunGard) – Architecture, core modules, programming, batch structuring, features and business functions, US exchanges and regulatory bodies across regions; Release and Incident management; Exchange traded Derivatives and Over the counter derivatives products, post trade processing, settlement processes, and industry practices.
