Job Description

Raytheon’s Office of General Counsel is seeking an administrative assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to three attorneys within Raytheon’s Office of General Counsel located in Richardson, Texas.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  •  Coordinate travel arrangements, including domestic and international, and complete expense reports
  •  Manage calendars, including scheduling meetings with internal and external clients
  • Organize documents and coordinate document production
  • Conduct various document searches and factual research
  • Prepare materials for case preparation
  • Conduct research and resolve routine legal questions under direction of an attorney
  • Prepare agreements, documents related to litigation and non-litigation matters
  • Collect documents / information and respond to subpoenas
  •  Generate charts, tables, reports, correspondence and other materials with speed and accuracy
  •  Process outside counsel and other billing invoices for payment.
  •  Answer telephones, handle copies, filing and mailings
  •  Provide backup administrative support to other attorneys and staff within the Office of General Counsel
  •  Maintain library of labor and employment law materials
  •  Establish detailed knowledge of the Office of General Counsel Leadership Team members, locations, assigned positions; develop and maintain excellent working relationships and communication channels with other professional staff and executive assistants

Required Skills:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, but college education is preferred, plus at least six years of applicable experience
  • Experience conducting research, including ability to use Bloomberg and similar resources
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, especially Word and Power Point
  • Ability to prioritize the demands of three senior attorneys with various practices
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Internet proficiency and ability to learn and use internal and external tools
  • Ability to work with legal matter management and analytics systems such as Serengeti
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and be a “self-starter”
