IP Telephony Support Engineer

Job Description

IP Telephony Support Engineer to provide Change Management and Tier 3 support for (CHCS) Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution / Webex Calling customer IP telephony environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Create and execute change management solutions for CHCS customer deployments. This entails evaluating technical documentations, assessing impact, coordinating with 3rd party vendors, and partnering with customer IT departments for successful implementations. CHCS solutions include UCM, Unity, Presence, Call Attendant console, Emergency Gateways, and Paging servers. Engineer should also have working knowledge of vCenter and virtual machine management. Position also provides technical support for current Tier 1.5/2 service assurance team members.
Key Competencies and Skills:
SME of IP Telephony utilizing Cisco applications: UCM, Unity, Presence, etc... Advanced understanding of IP Telephony signaling and call flows Advanced understanding of network and/or IP Telephony trouble shooting and problem resolution Advanced understanding of LAN/WAN inter-network devices; Routing & Switching Self-managed with limited direct supervision Fluent in English
Education and Qualifications:
University degree or Cisco CCNP/CCIE collaboration/voice and 5 to 8 years of related experience
Additional Information:
Working Hours: Vary – Primary is Mon-Fri: 9am-5:30pm, Maintenance window, on-call, and weekend work occur routinely, Training will be on-the-job and self-taught
