Job Description

We need a forward-thinking development manager located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, that can become a trusted advisor for educational institutions, governments, partners, to advance our CSR educational strategy in Brazil and help organizations meet their goals. As CSR Manager for Brazil, you will be responsible of building win win partnerships outside and across Cisco. You ́ll have ample opportunity to work on a diversity of projects and impact the lives of thousands. You ́ll engage with a wide range of government officials, educational institution authorities, teachers and students and benefit from different points of view to enrich your personal and professional experience. You will bring to bear existing CSR activities but also build and drive new initiatives as well as inspire and work with key decision makers to make a difference for your country.

When you work with us you ́ll influence education institutions, government, partners and instructors forming enduring bonds. Ones that last for 20 years or more. You are the advisor they trust to advance their educational programs to help them achieve their goals, empower their communities and multiply the impact. Inside Cisco you will work with highly effective, collaborative and multicultural teams. In scope of the role will also be securing relevance and cooperation with country team and with transformational accounts as well as development and management of local solutions aligned with Global CSR Framework.

Your are a trusted advisor that inspires confidence through communication. The relationships you build with government officials, school representatives, university deans, executives and others are deep and abiding. Partners love your deep knowledge of the eduction sector in Brazil and the rich experience you have in building positive relationships that drive success to both parties. Your focus is success and you know how to be accountable for it. You can convey effectively your ideas to different types of audiences. At minimum, we require:

• 10 years of experience in business development, sales or marketing in the education sector or government.
• 5 years of experience working with the educational sector in Brazil and/or NGOs.
• Experience working in multicultural environment.
• BS/BA in Business, Marketing, International Relationships or communications. Full command of English. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in both English and Portuguese. Spanish a plus.
