About the Role Houzz is looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to help shape our growing Marketplace and Technology organizations. You will share our company's story, vision, culture and technology with top talent eager to help transform the home design and remodeling industry. You will leverage your experience in attracting the best talent, and closing the deal, as we grow rapidly to meet the demands of our user base. The best fit for this role will be someone who seeks out opportunities to build/create/own the recruiting process, can work closely with team members throughout the company, and is comfortable engaging with leadership as a recruiting consultant. You should thrive in a bright, airy, and open-office work environment.
What You'll Do
- Build innovative and scalable solutions to drive hiring in order to meet Houzz business objectives
- Design customized and executable staffing plans, while building relationships with the recruiting team and technical/eCommerce client groups
- Create innovative sourcing strategies and maintain an exceptional candidate experience
- Facilitate and lead meetings as well as build key initiatives and projects with the recruiting team and client groups
- Mentor and guide other partners in different parts of the hiring process as a senior member of the recruitment group
- Build, own, and iterate on the interview processes for your searches in conjunction with engineering and business leadership
- Develop and foster strong partnerships with all internal clients, including engineering and eCommerce leadership team members as well as executive leadership
- Lead recruiting efforts on a broad range of roles from technology to supply chain (utility player) as needed
- Compile and analyze data/metrics to support business decisions and plans as necessary
- Own and manage specialized recruitment programs end-to-end in order to ensure that Houzz taps into strong, diverse candidate pipelines
At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have
- 4-7 years of experience of full cycle diverse recruiting expertise
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Solid competency based interviewing experience

- Gregariousness and strong communication skills
- Discipline to focus on short- and long-term projects
- Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment with the ability to pivot quickly
