Job DescriptionRaytheon Company is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Poland Patriot Program Offset Coordination lead. This position is located in Warszawa Poland. The Offset Coordination lead will be responsible for assisting the Poland Patriot Offset Director with the day to day logistics, administration, and coordination of the Poland based Offset program. A key component of this role will be to create, implement and manage a hotline that will provide technical assistance to Polish Offset partners. This position requires strong bi-lingual communication skills in Polish and English, effective project management skills and understanding of differences in business and national cultures between U.S. and Polish defense companies. The lead will assist the Offset Program Director with coordination between the various reporting, planning and coordination requirements at the overall Offset Program level. This position reports directly to the Poland Patriot Offset Director but will further provide assistance to the Offset program’s Integrated Product Team leads. This lead will regularly interact with senior Raytheon leadership and interface with major partners and customers. The Offset Coordination lead will help communicate and coordinate between Raytheon local and US based staff, Polish Offset Partners and Polish Ministry of National Defense personnel on administrative and technical issues.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assist the Offset Director to plan, coordinate and conduct program activities
- Co-develop meeting materials/presentations and ensure meeting minutes are captured
- Control the archiving and retention of Offset related materials
- Assist Supply Chain and Contracts Offset personnel with configuration management of documents
- Develop and implement a process for electronically and telephonically receiving and answering technical queries related to the performance of the system, logistics and sustainment activities
- Provide Offset Partners with real time technical assistance by independently developing responses and/or coordinating responses from Offset Integrated Product Team Leads and US based Raytheon Engineers
- Participate in Offset Technology transfer projects; grow their personal technical education and experience relative to the subject technology of the projects
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with program personnel, customers, and subcontractors
- Must be a Polish Citizen
Basic/Required Qualifications:- Minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Direct experience with Polish customers and suppliers
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically 25% of the time
- Ability and willingness to travel to the United States infrequently
- Fluency in reading, writing and speaking in Polish and English
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
- Experience working in the US or for a US Defense Contractor either through full time regular employment or through Co-op / Intern programs
- Program Management certification in a certified program
- Translation/interpreter experience in Polish-English
- Ability to work with diverse teams
- Desire for a long term career with growth at Raytheon
- Manufacturing or design experience
- Process improvement experience/Six Sigma or Lean certification
