Job Description

Boeing Ireland Ltd (BIL) is a rapidly growing fully integrated subsidiary of The Boeing Company (TBC) with a revenue of in excess of $60m pa. BIL acts as the employing entity for all TBC staff in the Irish Republic. The Head of Boeing Ireland Operations will integrate and lead all the staff employed in Ireland including all Capabilities and Functions.

The position will ensure correct company governance is maintained at all times, including the safety of company staff, integrity of financial systems and ensuring applicable local legislation is compiled with. This position will lead a small direct report team in Program and Project management activities for the TBC lease transition product. With matrix management responsibility across a broader Lease transitions team based out of the Dublin offices. It will require close coordination with the extended Boeing Company, Our Customers, and suppliers.

Key elements and responsibilities of the position include:

Leadership of BIL in line with the principle of “One Boeing” and The Boeing Behaviours
Program Execution and Performance as demonstrated in the attainment of customer satisfaction, schedule delivery performance, financial objectives, and project quality
Integration of activities across the extended organization
Application of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP), lessons learned, standard tools, and common processes
Working with the customer to anticipate and understand their needs, develop SOW, and implement solutions to satisfy these needs (e.g., new airplane deliveries, new base and line maintenance stations etc.)
Establish and maintain a culture of openness, understanding, and continuous improvement
Shape new business in accordance with a defined strategy through the merging of customer needs with Boeing capabilities
Management of project managers, staff analysts, and office administrator’s
Lead organizational projects (e.g., Lean implementation, facilities moves, new IT systems etc.)
