To strengthen our Central Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMA) region, we are currently looking for a talented Country HR Manager for our HP Romania organization, based in Bucharest.

In this role, you will be the key partner and focal point for all HR-related issues in the country. You will provide overall support to the business and demonstrate a flexible and proactive attitude while complying with company policy. It is essential that you maintain a high-level and up-to-date knowledge of developments in your areas of expertise to offer added value advice to the business. You will be expected to contribute to the improvement of business performance from an HR perspective. Together with the business, you will develop a strategy, designed to answer the local needs and expectations. Furthermore, you will implement global HR policies and proactively ensure that goals are met by the business. Your level of success also depends on your ability to create an efficient knowledge-based internal network; this will enable you to better identify and understand the needs and challenges of the business and act upon them accordingly. In this position you will report to the CEMA HRGO lead.

Qualifications:

• You have a Human Resources related degree or equivalent achieved through experience, with at least 6-10 years of relevant experience with a multi-national environment in the HR-field of work.
• You have a very good understanding of topics such as employee/labor relations, diversity, staffing, compensation & benefits and training & development.
• You have a proven ability to coach and counsel managers, to resolve conflicts and a thorough knowledge of organizational development principles.
• A working knowledge of local labor laws and government regulations is a requirement.
• You are IT literate and can demonstrate good project and program management skills.
• You have good presentation skills and have the ability to communicate at every level whether internally or externally. You have the capacity to convince and build-up relationships based on trust and reliability.
• You know how to prioritize, are well organized and have an eye for detail.
• You are result driven, persistent, flexible and you quickly adapt to changing situations.
• You have impeccable oral and written communication skills in Romanian and English.
