<h1>Service Designer / Design Strategist</h1> Location: Bangalore Exp.: 6+ years We are looking for someone who <ul> <li>has a strong grasp & knowledge of different techniques in the SD tool kit</li> <li>Is an avid story-teller & can articulate compelling narratives and user journeys to different types of audience</li> <li>Does not just look at strategic work, but can get into the details through ideation, conceptualisation and oversee implementation & guide teams </li> <li>Mentors teams in user centred perspectives in problem solving and delivery</li> <li>Can understand constraints and knows how to navigate through them & ensure that the problems being solved have high degree of user-centricity</li> <li>Thinks across services with a product bent of mind working alongside product managers</li> <li>Gets alignment across teams, stakeholders, priorities & geographies</li> <li>Pushes compromises and drive for quality & impact and be an end user advocate</li> <li>Has hunger for challenges & creates compelling vision for quality</li> <li>Is highly comfortable with service design blueprints, complex user journeys, systems, service prototypes & various artefacts</li> </ul> Some responsibilities that they will own As a researcher Identify existing and potential users and have a systematic approach towards need finding and exploring problem spaces around the users Understand when and what techniques/methods need to be used based on the research objective Synthesise research findings into insights and opportunity areas As a design strategist Have a 360 degree view of business, problem areas, stakeholders, products, users, processes, teams, policies, systems and activities across different domains Think through short term and long term impact of service centric decisions and design directions Seamlessly understand patterns, derive inferences and work it the way through roadmaps and visions As an evidence based decision maker Explore, articulate and visualise problem spaces and concepts to arrive at structured and evidence based decisions based on the research findings Employ a logical data gathering and analysis approach through the process As a designer at the core Comfortably ideate and drive solution development Think holistic when it comes to problem solving Sketch and articulate spontaneously when it comes to ideation You do not just stop at strategy, but go deeper into how to solve those problems working with teams As a communicator & facilitator Effective in communication to different types of audience with varied technical, business, organizational & role levels in the organization Able to facilitate workshops, collaborative sessions, guide a group towards collective decision making Understand risks, implications, competing priorities and interest areas while driving groups to be successful in collaborative thinking and arriving at decisions Able to facilitate activities with varying sizes and groups of people within the organisation to enable teams and stakeholders work towards a collective goal A glimpse of the kinds of problems that you might solve when you work with different teams <ul> <li>How do we attract talent and get an employee onboard?</li> <li>How do employees experience business trips?
