The Experiential Marketing Manager will report to the Global Experiential Lead and be based in San Francisco, CA. S/he will be responsible for leading the production and execution of global Experiential campaigns. Success in this role is defined by ensuring timelines and deliverables are met, clear communication between internal and external partners, and successful execution of campaign goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear briefs and strategic framework for campaigns
  • Lead execution of successful campaign development and production
  • Serve as central source of knowledge for all details pertaining to planning and execution of campaign
  • Manage campaign budget
  • Create campaign timelines -- identify deadlines, reviews, and key dates
  • Determine and approve campaign deliverables, including graphic design, copy, and content needs
  • Create agendas and recaps of meetings
  • Manage external vendor and partner relationships
  • Work cross functionally with internal teams, including Business Leads, Finance, Legal, Creative, Community Support, and Social Media to ensure successful campaign execution
  • Act as the main point of contact for on-the-ground production
  • Process invoices and payments in collaboration with accounting for all external vendors
  • Research and develop trends and ideas in the Experiential space, pro-actively sourcing new market technologies, concepts and partners

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience in Experiential Event Production
  • Strong presentation skills preferred
  • Deep understanding of the creative development and production processes for Experiential activations, and ability to utilize past experience to provide expert POV
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work well independently, demonstrate sound judgement, and build cross-functional relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of Google Docs, Excel, Keynote, Word and CRM software.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively in a team dynamic
  • A passion for Airbnb, travel and the sharing economy. Being a host on Airbnb is a plus!
