The Role:
Thales UK have an exciting opportunity for an motivated and talented Firmware Design Engineer to work within Defence Mission Systems (DMS), specifically our Maritime Mission Systems (MMS) business unit; a team dedicated to working on some of the next generation, cutting edge sonar technologies.
We’re looking to recruit a motivated individual with experience developing in FPGA; you will be working with our highly talented Digital and Analogue development team in Cheadle (Greater Manchester), as well as having the opportunity to collaborate with other sites and other UK specialists.
As a Firmware Design Enginer, you will work as part of a dynamic and integrated team, working towards the programme and build of FPGA Solutions across a variety of projects within the group. With the support of other members of the team, you will be responsible for specialised electrical and electronic design tasks associated with design for the subsea environment.
