Social Media Analyst, Nielsen Sports - London, Paddington

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with clients and client service teams in the delivery of Digital services including Social Media Valuation, Digital Market Intelligence and Social Media Monitoring
  • Employing a variety of research techniques to understand and analyse online & social data and provide insight about relevant online conversations
  • Manage execution of digital and social media reports, translation of data driven insight into client focused insight.
  • Analyse third-party vendors to ensure quality of service
  • Develop content for client workshops
  • Work with a cross-functional group on digital training initiatives across different markets

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ideally a BA/BS followed by solid experience in social media analytics and digital marketing including the use of tools such as Social Bakers, Crimson Hexagon, TalkWalker, Speadfast, Crowd Tangle, Synthesio, Meltwater or other similar platforms
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience in independently creating Social Media Monitoring reports including sentiment analysis, volume trends, influencer analysis etc. to deliver social media insights that can help positively change a client’s content and engagement strategy
  • Experience in social media requirement gathering and client digital objective setting
  • Experience in account management
  • A passion for and interest in the sports scene and the field of sports business – experience in sports preferred
  • Must be passionate about the quickly-evolving social media environment
  • Outstanding research and analytical skills
  • Self-starter with excellent initiative and communication skills
