As an entry-level onboarding operations manager, you will partner with internal compliance teams to review, interpret and execute client contractual requirements related to onboarding. You will be on the front lines of support in consistently providing an extraordinary experience to talent, client, and staff related to onboarding.


In addition to supporting the onboarding team’s overall goal of optimization and experience improvement for talent onboarding, you will also partner with Agents, Success Managers and members of the internal audit team to ensure that all talent are onboarded with speed, accuracy and fully prepared to start working for the designated client/role.

The right person for this role will have:

  • Experience providing outstanding customer service and positive first impressions
  • A General understanding of employment laws related to hiring and onboarding, knowing when to raise scenarios for input
  • Ability to process requests with an utmost sense of urgency
  • Previous experience with complex customer onboarding requirements
  • Ability to tackle complex problems, make effective and quick decisions
  • Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to be flexible and can adopt change expediently while gracefully handling multiple priorities
  • Experience in staffing, recruiting organizations or on a back-office operations team (preferred, but not required)

As an Onboarding Operations Specialist, you will:

  • Partner with Agents to ensure talent are prepped for onboarding prior to starting, provide consistent and timely status updates to agent and talent during the process through completion/RTW
  • Check-in, throughout the day, on all onboarding elements to ensure talent are completing steps, resolving issues and providing relevant status updates; including but not limited to background/drug screens, employment forms, I9/E-verify, and any required training.
  • Address talent questions, feedback or other requests that may surface during onboarding, building a very collaborative and inclusive process with both Agent and talent
  • Raise trends, delays or issues to leadership for exploration and resolution
  • Partner with Agents/account teams if clarity is needed around any element of the onboarding requirement(s)
  • Track and analyze onboarding data to identify trends, opportunities and resolve challenges
  • Partner with the internal Immigration team as needed to ensure talent meet eligibility requirements
  • Partner with SS Success Managers for issue resolution as needed, and report industry/client group analytics to Success Managers on a monthly basis
  • Partner with the internal audit team and account teams to supply documentation collected during onboarding for client audits, work with audit teams to address any infractions or missing onboarding elements
  • Contribute to the onboarding team’s overall goal of optimization and experience improvement for talent onboarding
