The Director of City Supply Chain Operations is responsible for owning all onboarding and local operations in North America. This role oversees Onboarding, Vendor Services, and Local Operations & Logistics along with the Managers that run each of the those teams. Each of those departments are key levers in the operational growth of the business. This person will work closely with the Director of Markets - North America in their pursuit to grow Getaround’s presence in both new and existing markets. Primary responsibilities (aka “What you’ll be doing”)
- Iterating on the new vision for Getaround’s vehicle onboarding process that will allow for a more seamless onboarding experience for the car owner and Getaround internally.
- Scaling the new onboarding process nationally, improving the turn around time for a vehicle onboarding across the company.
- Managing the strategy behind the processes and tools used by Getaround’s local operations teams to achieve peak efficiency.
- Managing the team dedicated to maintaining and rolling out all new and existing tools used to support the local operations team.
- Building a strategic vision to scale and optimize the Vendor Services team to best meet the needs of the business.
- Build a strategy for growing each of the functions within the City Operations team to scale with the business.
Qualifications (aka “Skills”) -
- 5-8+ years managing multi-functional teams across multiple markets
- 5+ years strategic operations experience
- 2-5+ years management consulting experience
- Experience managing resources who have full teams beneath them
- Relentless desire to build the strategy for the operations side of Getaround’s business
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to help the company scale to new heights
- Experience in strategy and operations required
