Job summary

Support the operations of our Sales team and contribute to our growth. The Red Hat Sales Operations team for the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our EMEA Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Strategic Alliance team in either Cork, Ireland or Farnborough, U.K. In this role, you will support the OEM Sales team to eliminate inefficiencies and allow the team to promote revenue and enhance Red Hat's competitive position. You'll serve as the main point of contact between Sales and EMEA Sales Operations, guiding the regional adoption of operational systems, tools, processes, and initiatives. As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will support communication and logistics across various teams. You will also support Red Hat’s procedures related to direct and channel operational activities and deliver key messages to the Sales team in relation to operations processes.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Truly understand the precise value drivers for our OEM partner organization and their customers and provide support to deliver that value
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the OEM business within the EMEA Sales Operations team, represent the operational aspects around this business in EMEA or global projects, and enable other parts of the organization where needed
  • Provide operational support to the OEM and Sales leadership on forecasting, planning, pipeline management, and special projects
  • Define requirements for and provide analytics to support decision making
  • Support and guide in-region performance management
  • Serve as a trusted adviser to OEM and Sales leadership
  • Guide regional adoption of new tools, process, and initiatives
  • Serve as a regional subject matter expert for the EMEA Sales Operations team and provide feedback both ways while supporting navigation around the back office functions where needed
  • Provide escalation support
  • Provide enablement training to Sales and Support associates
  • Promote operational excellence within region by operational scheduling and the usage of Salesforce.com (SFDC) as a customer relationship management (CRM) tool
  • Support and guide sales methodology

Required skills

  • Commercial understanding of a multiproduct software strategy to help achieve results
  • Advanced operations experience with a proven record of success in sales operations and sales environment, specifically working with global partner organizations
  • Understanding of the OEM (Level 3) route to market
  • Ability to show and discuss results of successfully applying knowledge of and experience with operations to contribute to operational strategic goals
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills combined with the abilities to inspire, network, solve problems, and manage conflicts
  • Motivated and able to work seamlessly with local and remote teams
  • Detail-oriented with analytical abilities that support data-driven decision making
  • Excellent customer service skills in a flexible, fast-changing environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience working in a medium to large enterprise, including process and operations experience
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional sales and operational teams
