RSA creates a wide range of industry-leading products that allow customers to take control of risk. Those risks may stem from external cyber threats, identity and access management challenges, online fraud, compliance pressure, or any number of other business and technology issues.

RSA strives to continuously increase the efficiency and speed of product delivery to its customers and is seeking an experienced SaaS Operations Manager to help improve this flow of value.

Key Responsibilities

As a SaaS Operations Manager, you will lead a team of Operations and Platform engineers to oversee operations of 24/7 mission critical services; help RSA to launch new cloud-based products; and evangelize a DevOps culture across the business. You will need to understand how systems, tools, and processes are working today; assess how that aligns to long term strategy; and develop plans to align the team to our future state.

• Get your hands dirty by leading day-to-day activities and resource planning around application operations, database administration, patch management, and operational processes.
• When needed, act as incident commander to lead troubleshooting and communication of application, network, and database problems using the expertise of your team.
• Help to transition existing workloads to the cloud and to guide the development of new cloud-based services.
• Partner with other product development and global support functions on opportunities to improve our customers’ experience.
• Lead efforts across the organization to ensure our infrastructure is well-designed and scales to meet the needs of the services we provide to our customers.

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building or operating web-based applications.
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS preferred) and modern application architectures.
• Working knowledge of common operational management methodologies and security standards (e.g. ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, etc.)
• Basic understanding of Source Control Management (SCM) / Version Control Systems (VCS) tools and practices.
• Excellent problem solving, logical, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to interact and communicate with various levels in the organization from individual contributor to senior executives.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience migrating SaaS offerings from traditional data centers to the cloud.
• Deep understanding of and experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with configuration and orchestration tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, CloudFormation, OpsWorks)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)
• Past experience developing software, especially using tools and languages in the .Net family.
• Empathy for the perspectives of other functions including information security, product engineering, experience design, and customer support.
