Job Description

Summary of Role:
The Raytheon Emirates’ Offset organization has a position for an energetic and entrepreneurial minded candidate that is willing to accept a high degree of autonomy in a complex start-up environment. This position will be located at the Raytheon Emirates offices in Abu Dhabi and report to the Offset Director.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing partnerships with UAE government stakeholders, industry and academia. Pertinent efforts will focus on the UAE portfolio while concurrently supporting activities in adjacent regional markets.
The successful candidate will have significant interaction with multiple internal/external stakeholders and will be a strategic contributor to the growth of Raytheon’s ongoing growth in the Middle East. Key focus areas will include creating opportunities for UAE Nationals, shaping and implementing partnerships with the regions industrial supplier base as well as the advancement of technology development and investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop management innovative solutions to help Raytheon Emirates achieve its business objectives, including:

• Drive strategy development and assessments of local partner/supplier capabilities and localization in (Cluster building)
• Develop and analyze economic impact studies, business opportunities/models and financial assessments
• Support opportunity creation and development planning for UAE Nationals.
• Develop strategies and business plans for exploiting technology development and investment opportunities, growth markets and create/support specific business pursuits
• Screen new sector opportunities and investment deals using appropriate due diligence methodology
• Produce quantitative and qualitative analysis to support Offset investment decisions
• Work across the enterprise, balance competing priorities and actively contribute in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Bachelor Degree Minimum of Five (10) years’ experience working in a business environment pursuing activities related to commercial management, ecosystem development, investment analysis, economic development or similar role
• Minimum of Two (2) years’ experience with UAE Business/Offset landscape and demonstrated expertise with the process
• Prior experience with/exposure to the international A&D and Security environment

• Prior experience dealing directly with UAE Government entitiesand local stakeholder networks
• Previous experience with US A&D companies and international start-ups.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of dual-use and related technologies, preferably from experience working in a technology role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop effective presentations/briefings and internal and external correspondence and communications materials
• Self-starter with a collaborative can-do attitude and ability to be an effective member of a cross-functional team.
• Ideally Tech savvy with prior Business Development, Contracts, Finance and Program/Project Management expertise.
