Job Description

Gemalto is a provider of business-critical IT security solutions focused on all aspects of data protection from end points, networks to data center. Due to growth, we are now hiring an Indonesia Sales Manager to join our ASEAN sales team and will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

As a client facing Sales Manager, you will be responsible of developing and growing our cyber security business for major clients in Indonesia. Working as part of the ASEAN team, you will provide direct sales management. You will work closely with the regional sales managers, and security consultants.

The ideal candidate should possess at least 6+ years’ experience as an account sales or pre-sales technical consultant within IT security industry. Private or public sector experience is welcome. Will be an added advantage if you possess proven ability to manage strategic accounts. Excellent oral and written communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments are also required.

·Develop sales strategies and marketing planning in targeted FSI clients.

·Experience of strategic account planning with practical knowledge of developing in-depth account plans and implementing them

·Achieved targeted annual sales target

·Assisting customer through a process of understanding their security requirements, defining a solution, creating a compelling proposition to close the deal

·Develops and builds strong customer relationships at all levels

·Good personal presence to act as an effective influencer and negotiator at senior levels of client management

·Listening attentively and be able to subsequently create and present IT security solution (with given set of security products) to business units in targeted account to create interest and preference for our solution leading to trial or purchase intention

·Keeps current on market, business and product trends as well as current security threat landscape

·Driving partnership & collaboration with key vendors and partners

> Education: · Computer Science or Engineering Degree> Experience Level:· A minimum of 6 years’ experience in either account sales or pre-sales or similar in the Indonesia IT Security industry · Experience working in a major account environment, preferable in the FSI sector.· Experienced in multi-level selling, comfortable influencing CxO, IT Managers, Compliance and risk management Managers.> Competencies:Sales/Technical / functional skills:- Fluent in English/Bahasa Indonesia communication and written skills- Strong Account management skill- Strong Negotiation skill- Good dynamic and visible networking skill- Have strong knowledge and experience on the below skill sets will be an added advantage:

  • Enterprise Security Solutions including Data Center architecture and services incorporating Server, System, Storage, Network, Virtualization, Database, Application and Mobile technologies
  • Cryptography and Key Management
  • Multi-Factor Authentication and Control Access
  • Communicating security vulnerabilities

· Data Discovery & Classification.

  • Security Operational Center (SOC) and Cybersecurity landscape
  • Common Operating System security best practices
  • Experience with Virtual environments such as VMWare, AWS, Azure or HyperV
