The Role
As a Field Sales Enablement Manager you will work as a business partner to Channel Sales Leadership and consult on the provision of sales and solutions training to Americas internal and external Channel Community. The Ability to align Nutanix GTM with our channel partners and their strategy is critical. You will also enable the Nutanix Channel Organization to better impact our Channel Partners and provide them with the tools and resources necessary for our collective success.

You have a sales, pre-sales, and/or enablement background with a desire to teach and make an impact. You have experience building relationships at all levels, including senior sales management and across organizations. You have a proven track record with successful results within a matrixed environment. You understand how National, Regional, SI’s and MSP’s operate with technology partners and how they grow a successful practice. This role reports to the Director of Field Sales Enablement for the Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales leadership to understand the priorities of the business and develop a Channel enablement strategy to align with your customer – internal and external.
  • Build relationships internally and gain credibility as a trusted advisor who can improve the effectiveness of the Nutanix Channel.
  • Responsible for the delivery of strategic workshops, GTM messaging, and customizing deliverables for specific partners.
  • Communicate and sell the added value of Nutanix Sales and SE certifications and the financial impact to our partners.
  • Enable Nutanix Channel Managers to effectively grow the channel business with their focus partners.
  • Educate with whiteboards, role-plays, battle-cards, competitive information and other tools as needed.
  • Track and measure your impact for Nutanix and especially to our Channel Community.

Qualifications

  • Ability to command an audience and gain mindshare of sales and channel leaders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical information into a format easily consumed by an audience
  • Experience with software or solution selling to enterprise organizations
  • Sales Enablement experience for an Enterprise technology company a plus
  • 10+ years of working experience; preferably in a sales or pre-sales capacity
  • Degree level education
