Role:

We are seeking a Director Federal Field Marketing who will be a leader, motivator, a team enabler, innovator, cross-function communicator, problem solver and program leader. This key position will support the acquisition, growth and retention of new Federal business and will drive marketing strategy and market influencing programs that will help our prospects and customers understand what is possible with ServiceNow. We need someone that is an action-oriented leader and able to thrive as a working manager.

Through cross-functional partnerships with Americas Federal Sales Leadership, Americas Regional Field Marketing, Global Campaigns, Global and AMS Partner Marketing, Customer Success Marketing, Account Based Marketing, and Marketing Operations you will continuously refine and optimize the Federal GTM marketing strategies and programs to drive greater customer engagement and achieve key business outcomes.

What you get to do in this role:

  • You will create, oversee and execute a fully integrated go-to-market plan to include demand gen programs, brand awareness and thought leadership campaigns tailored toward the US Federal Government market.
  • You will partner with Federal Sales leaders to review strategies and discuss initiatives that align to the revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create relative content which will be used for demand gen and thought leadership programs and ServiceNow Government website/assets.
  • Budget management is key to this position. You will manage annual federal marketing (Civilian and DoD) budget, report forecast and spend on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Research, select and manage programs relevant for the ServiceNow federal sales team and our identified key markets.
  • You will work closely with your Federal Field Marketing team to build and execute strategic marketing programs that are aligned to meet or over achieve Civilian and DoD sales targets.
  • You will collaborate with Federal Account Based Marketing (ABM) team to create a successful ABM journey for our key Federal customers.

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • Best in class marketing, demand generation with high tech company, with 15+ years of experience marketing to Federal Industry
  • Strong leader experience and team player able to think and plan strategically with a bias toward execution
  • Content/Market Skills: Understands Fed markets, buying behavior, channel/3rd party implications, and how to work with partners
  • Hands-on data and analytics experience using CRM and/or marketing automation software required
  • Experience working with customers, system integrator and public sector channel partners
  • Experience managing budgets and respect for company spending processes
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) Required
