Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) recruteur/ recruteuse expérimenté(e) et passionné(e) ayant une formation dans le recrutement de techniciens spécialisés dans la recherche et le développement en intelligence artificielle, en analyse de données massives, en apprentissage automatique et en ingénierie d'algorithmes. Cette mission sera associée à la recherche d'autres profils généralistes dans différentes unités et fonctions commerciales et à la gestion de l'ATS.

Le(la) candidat(e) retenu(e) disposera d’une grande autonomie, tout en étant exposé(e) à des professionnels hautement compétents dans la Silicon Valley du Canada, à Montréal. Ce rôle offre non seulement l’opportunité de développer la stratégie et la recherche de postes, mais aussi de travailler sur des projets variés, des campagnes de recrutement de diplômés et des initiatives de marque de l’employeur, en partenariat avec une équipe talentueuse et collaborative. Ce poste sera basé au sein du pôle Thales Cortaix (centre d'intelligence artificielle) à Montréal.

Seeking an expert, hands on and passionate recruiter with a background in highly technical, niche recruitment with a focus on hiring PhD professionals with specialisms in R&D for artificial intelligence, big data analytics, machine learning and algorithm engineering. This will be coupled with sourcing for other generalist profiles across different business units and functions and managing the ATS.

This role not only offers the opportunity to develop the strategy and sourcing for positions, but the chance to work on varied projects, graduate recruitment campaigns and employer branding initiatives, partnering with a talented and collaborative team.

This position will be based out of the Thales Cortaix hub (artificial intelligence centre) in Montreal with various other beautiful office locations that you will have the chance to visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personally accountable for ensuring the delivery of output metrics covering: target start dates and customer satisfaction for professional hires for assigned requisitions.
• Influence key stakeholders where no direct line responsibility exists (e.g. Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners & Generalists) to ensure output metrics are met
• Personally own the full resourcing lifecycle for assigned requisitions from requirements definition, sourcing, selection through to onboarding and for the first 6 months of Employees’ tenure
• Own the Hiring Manager relationship, coaching them through the recruitment process, their role within it, creating appropriate target lists and a compelling value proposition to sell to passive candidates
• Attend interviews with Hiring Managers to support the decision making process, promote best practice within Recruitment and Selection, and provide coaching as and where necessary
• Build and maintain a personal network of passive candidates for all business critical roles
• Manage all channels to the active candidate market including employee referral, e-sourcing, on & off line advertising, events and agencies
• Personally assess candidates’ competence, cultural fit and motivation, and present robust shortlists with an appropriate mix of Internal, external, active and passive candidates
• Represent Thales Canada at Career Fairs, and Industry events

Skills and Expeirence:

The successful candidate should:

• Have 5+ years of recruitment experience in a high volume complex environment (combination of agency and corporate experience preferred)
• Fluency in English and French is required.
• Have an advanced working proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs
• Be a strong communicator (verbal and written) and have the ability to act as a true business partner with a consultative approach to recruitment
• Have experience working in a metrics driven recruitment environment
