The Fixed Income Operations team provide post-trade operations support to the Japan fixed income sales & trading franchise across a wide range of products (Securities, FX and OTC Derivatives). Key functions include; trade management (trader & sales support), drafting & affirmations, settlements, client valuation, regulatory reporting and internal controls & Projects.

• Coordination with various internal stakeholders to facilitate business, efficiency, control and regulatory initiatives, active engagement & partnership at local and global levels in order to drive the firm’s strategic deliveries
• Provide sales support via trade capture, validation, reconciliation, confirmation, account allocation, and client services including: corporate action, payments, and settlements
• Partner with front office, business manager, technology and other support partners to initiate, coordinate and develop new business and strategic operational agendas
• Review of Operational & Regulatory metrics, legal ledger maintenance, regulatory reporting and projects
• Run and deliver efficiency agendas, streamline processes and increase capacity within the teams
• Oversight of the offshore hub locations in APAC, EMEA, NA and LATAM and ensure compliance with global and local regulatory reporting requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Proven work experience within the banking industry with solid knowledge within fixed income cash products and preferably prior experience in trade support or sales support functions
• Display strong drive and enthusiasm along with the ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment with regular tight deadlines
• Highly numerate and analytical, able to value a product and understand basic risk factors as well as attention to detail
• Strong team player with strong written and verbal communication skills and flexible mindset to changes
• Fluency in English and Native Japanese are a must
• JSDA 1st and 2nd class Sales Representative license holders
