This practitioner will be based in our Rosslyn, VA office, but will be required to travel to various client sites (approx. 75% travel) in the US. Client sites include but are not limited to San Antonio, TX, Hampton, VA, Boise, ID and Goldsboro, NC. Candidates must possess an active security clearance (Secret or higher; ideally TS/SCI) in order to be considered for interviews; we are not able to sponsor new clearances at this time. We are hiring for various levels and we are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience. Work you’ll do As a practitioner within our Organization Transformation team you will:
  • Perform a comparative analysis of a past, current, and future state organizational design against a control organization
  • Collect and compile data through data calls, focus groups, and client interviews; create a detailed analysis of data collected, provide recommendations on improvements to Courses of Action (COAs) and future state operations, and develop a comprehensive implementation plan
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work
  • Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
  • Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports
  • Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
  • Assist in proposal development, as requested
  • Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients
  • Travel approx. 75% or as needed

  • Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Industrial and Organizational Development/Psychology or a related discipline
  • Active US Government security clearance (Secret or higher; target is TS/SCI)
  • Experience in Organization Transformation Human Capital consulting, ideally in the public sector space
  • Experience in human-centered design, design thinking, organizational transformation, mergers and acquisitions, change management, and/or workforce transformation & culture
  • Knowledge of large-scale operations, performing organizational analysis, process, and assessments
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an industry or consulting team-oriented environment in operations, management and/or human resources-related fields; the more senior positions on this project require 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools
Preferred:
  • Commercial experience is a plus, although this project is for a federal client
  • DoD client experience is ideal
