Job Description

Uplay is Ubisoft’s digital distribution platform on PC.
The platform is constantly evolving and the team is collaborating with a growing number of diverse partners from around the globe – with both external teams and internal teams from within Ubisoft.

As an Account Manager (f/m/d) you will be responsible for managing the relationship and facilitating the communication with these partners on dedicated collaborations. You will function as their primary point of contact on the Uplay team, identifying their needs and providing visibility on all ongoing topics.
Within this team, you will work closely with the Product Owner and Production Team responsible for the technical integration in order to define and prioritize the task backlog and to make sure the requirements of each stakeholder are taken into account.

You will join an ambitious, international, multi-disciplinary team, where everyone is willing to expand their knowledge and are encouraged to continue learning new things. The team is characterized by passion and the love of gaming.
This is a permanent position based in Düsseldorf (Germany) that will require you to travel occasionally.

We are looking for a person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a major client focus. Your ability to collaborate with others comes naturally to you.

You are willing to learn and always see the positive in any challenge, whilst at the same time remain open to feedback to adapt and grow.

A good knowledge of the video game industry and recent technical trends as well as a solid technical understanding complete your profile.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead point of contact for all teams working with Uplay on dedicated topics.
• Build and maintain a strong and trusting relationship between Uplay and a diverse set of internal and external collaboration partners like business, development, and game teams.
• Address queries effectively and in a timely manner
• Understand stakeholders’ needs and gather information & feedback, both technically and non-technically
• Own the communication pipeline and processes in order to provide visibility both towards the Uplay team and to partners outside of the team.
• Define and prioritize the collaboration backlog tasks for the technical integration.
• Work closely with the production team within Uplay throughout the integration process.
• Identify opportunities and synergies for collaborations among existing partners.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Account Manager in a fast-paced work environment a similar relevant position
• Ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective presentation and negotiation skills
• Fluent in English, any knowledge of French is a plus
