Business Analyst

Job Description

This position is responsible for managing commission systems and production related activities for NetApp’s geography in collaboration with system admin team. The business Analyst will provide daily production support for administering the TrueComp Commission processing activities. This includes partnering closely with other departments/stakeholders in support of the monthly Callidus Cloud System production processes, successful generation of pay files, reconciling commissions and management of commission statements. This position will report directly into Commission Accounting Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

• Key role in managing end-to-end commission processing and related applications (e.g. Success Factors, PeopleSoft, SMART, STTC, Callidus TrueComp) utilized by Commission Operations team.
• Manage STTC, PSTC, HCM, and Commission extract uploads processes. Execute pipeline jobs, running calculations to generate various reports on sales participants commission details.
• Work with the IT support team to fix all fallouts during various job execution in Callidus system.
• Manage end user system access management, report metrics to management on quarterly basis
• Reconcile / Validate systems data for any anomalies and accuracy before sending it to commissions operations team for further scrub processes.
• Point of contact to various stake holders in providing required information and support on sales compensation calculation issues, setup issues, data integration and maintaining issue tracker for all system issues and troubleshooting.
• Understand the system and plan functionalities, report out issues to respective support teams in time, resolve and maintain plan of action, to ensure proper commission processing in system.
• Provide required commission data to CA manager for management reporting and provide the required information for SOX deliverables.
• Coordinate with eBI teams to develop Webi reports and maintenance.
• Document current and ongoing Commission Accounting System processes, policies and procedures, technological developments, understand data flow, system architecture and make recommendation for changes, upgrades, reconfigurations, and adoption of new technologies
• Utilize the TrueComp Manager application to research participants setups, payment history, hierarchies, and other commission related information

• Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Particularly, Excel, Access, Visio and outlook), Oracle (11.5.9), SQL, DB2
• Highly skilled Callidus system and commission domain experience
• Solid understanding of end-to-end Sales Compensation cycle from participant management and goal sheet release through commission payments. Understand the different components of the Sales Compensation plan and intricacies of the compensation tools.
• Exceptional ability to follow procedures and adhere / perpetuate departmental policies
• Must possess the ability to work with confidential reports and information with complete discretion

• Education: University Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Science / Finance preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience: Experience in Callidus TrueComp and different modules preferred. Desired 5+ years’ experience with Commission production operations / Incentive compensation management.
