Marketplace Operations Manager

Job Description

We are recruiting for the position of Marketplace Operations Manager to join the Marketplace Operations team; this is a permanent position, based in Melbourne, reporting to the Pacific Operations Director.The mission in Pacific Marketplace Operations is to connect consumers with easy access to product when, where and how they shop today and into tomorrow. As the Marketplace Operations (MPO) Manager, you will lead Account and Channel Operations for Nike Pacific (Australia and NZ) to ensure we execute our mission through a premium customer experience, while driving growth and profitability, maximizing service, and optimizing order book productivity. Preference will be given to applicants who have:

• Bachelor degree in a Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related field
• Significant progressive leadership experience in Supply Chain, or Sales/Customer Operations
• Deep process and operational experience, incl Supply Chain, logistics, project management and process improvement
• Strategy development and planning experience with strong financial acumen
• An analytical mindset with a passion for problem solving
• Understanding of retail value chains, planning processes, strategic and key accounts, and supply chain operations
• The ability to build strong and trusted partnerships, navigate competing stakeholders, functional agendas and multiple priorities
• Adept with systems and technology; general SAP system knowledge
• Excellent meeting and facilitation skills
• Experience in a highly cross-functional global business environment with the ability to effectively communicate and influence at various levels within a matrix structure
• A passion for people and a proven leader in talent development and coaching
