ROLE OVERVIEW
Under low to moderate supervision, our Client Relationship Managers are responsible for the on-going success and partnership of clients within the assigned client portfolio or region. This position will have responsibility for numerous accounts in France and includes add on/opportunity development, on-going retention and satisfaction metrics. Key to success in this position is the development and maintenance of strong relationships both within SAP Concur and with clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifying and executing business strategies that contribute to the success of the key metrics in the position – including identification of opportunities for expansion, retention and satisfaction
  • Conducting regular business reviews with customers either face to face or remotely, to strategically align with our clients and identify opportunities for adding greater value
  • Maintaining complete, consistent and quality activity/contact records and success plans in salesforce automation applications
  • Conducting contract renewal discussions and executing new agreements
  • Identification and execution of business strategies for assigned clients or client segments whilst working cross-functionally to execute on individual client strategies
  • Identification and prioritization of client issues/concerns; coordination with appropriate internal departments to provide response and/or solutions and providing constant feedback to management on the client account environment
  • Ensuring the best interests of both clients and SAP Concur are being fairly and objectively represented

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE

  • Proven account management skills across large complex accounts
  • Responsive and proactive communication skills
  • Issue resolution / conflict management
  • Proven success in identifying and qualifying business within existing client base and accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, defines key objectives, and develops strategies, action plans and the ability to lead across functional teams to meet key objectives
  • Broad understanding of business, financial systems and organizational decision-making
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and analyze issues/data and develop or implement appropriate plan to resolve
  • Proven ability to engage and interact with internal teams to drive the process of resolving client issues.
  • Ability to create and present to various audiences

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience with high level of interactions with internal/external clients
  • Native French & Fluent English language skills are required
  • Relevant software industry experience preferred.
  • Expense management or travel industry experience would be a plus
  • Salesforce.com knowledge would be beneficial
