Brand Communications Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the Pacific Brand Director, the successful applicant will bring Nike’s innovative and distinctive brand voice to the diverse consumers of Australia & NZ. From briefing, ideating, developing and executing premium and purposeful storytelling, to delivering on Nike’s business and brand ambitions, this role will help drive alignment and quality across the entire creative process. This role requires strategic and business aptitude to partner and communicate within the broader marketing team and business. The role requires strong partnerships with Nike categories and cross-functional partners including Integrated Media, Communications, Editorial and Brand design.Preference will be given to applicants who have:

• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years relevant Brand Communication, advertising, promotion experience
• Hybrid experience in traditional and digital communications
• Strong experience in film/graphic/digital production
• Thorough understanding of consumers and ability to connect with them though a sport and cultural lens, particularly in the Digital/Social media space
• Strong knowledge of sport, athletic and culturally relevant industries
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to recognize creative and innovative business opportunities and take advantage of them
• Ability to communicate complex information and concepts to a diverse audience
• Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies across a matrix organization
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to deal with constant change
