Team Description: Our Design team aims at crafting delightful experiences that make people’s lives easier. We're a close-knit, collaborative team, guided by a highly iterative and lean design process.

Role Description: We're seeking a driven Product Designer to join our team. Citrix has a bunch of projects in the pipeline, and we have an ongoing cycle of feature improvements and revamping our experiences across web and mobile. There are countless UX challenges and we're in a unique position to change the way people interact with their digital and cloud stuff. You'll be at the forefront of our efforts and be directly responsible for decisions that form the product. You’ll use your full range of skills from Product Design, interaction design, and visual design to build magical experiences. We're looking for you to join an awesome and delightful team.

Job Title: Product Designer

Location: Santa Clara, California

• Online portfolio with a range of interactive samples is highly desired.
• Experience in product design on a global scale.
• A minimum of (3) years of directly related work experience in User Interface Design/Development or Human Factors Usability is typically required.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with a lively team of talented Product Designers, PMs, engineers, sales, and customers to build the best products possible.
• Thinking in terms of design systems and making rationale design decisions.
• Using user research, quantitative and qualitative data as your secret weapons to drive and defend design decisions.
• Helping inject design thinking and empathy into every nook and cranny of the company.
• Creating low to high fidelity prototypes for demos and user testing to validate designs and interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must demonstrate significant experience and deep understanding of a product and its users. 5+ years’ experience in product/domain space.
• Strong hands on Visual Design skills.
• A background in UX, Visual Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field of study.
• Strong working knowledge of Sketch, Invision, Adobe Creative Suite. Any HTML, CSS Knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Systems thinker with a desire to conceptualize and create delightful experiences across multiple products, services and environments.
• Ability to proactively engage with end users, enabling us to gain insights into their work behavior/challenges.
• Take direction and guidance from lead designers.
• Collaborates closely with user researchers and contributes to research strategy.
• Understands business goals in regards to the product area and works to broaden product and domain expertise.
• Collaboration and leveraging the knowledge of others and shows the ability to work well with others.
• Takes ownership of the design and works closely and effectively both with the broader Product Design team, Product Management and Engineering leaders.
• Receives, weighs, and integrates diverse feedback from a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong Presentation and Communication Skills. Must present and communicate their design work effectively to both Product Design team and outside audiences.
• Understands the mission and goals of Product Design and is able to communicate this to product teams.
