Product Engineer

Job Description

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for Engineering and Quality aspects of current supplies products – from suppliers through production lines to customer’s feedback and performance analysis.
• Align and implement engineering and product quality policy, standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Lead engineering and quality interfaces with internal stakeholders: Quality, Manufacturing technology, Manufacturing, Procurement, World Wide Technical Support, Supply & Media, Programs, etc.
• Lead development of innovative solutions to reduce cost and improve quality.
• Follow related product timelines.
• Ensure financial budgets are followed.
• Implement new Manufacturing technology.

Education and Experience Required:

• B.Sc. Material/Chemical/Mechanical/Physics Engineering. M.Sc. advantage
• 4-6 years experience.

• Strong communication skills both Hebrew and English
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Proven Presentation skills
