We prioritize creative thinking and take pride in what we do. We're growing and seeking a Content & Marketing Strategist in Seattle. At Deloitte Digital, content strategists help build and set the communication strategy for brands. You will work to establish the goals and objectives, create frameworks and information architectures, apply UX best practices to inform world-class digital experiences. To do this, you’ll use research, trends and data on markets, consumers and culture as well as that most elusive tool of all: intuition. You like to solve problems. You are an empath who can put yourself in someone else’s shoes. You are fascinated by human behavior and love to tease out insights. You happily straddle the line between strategy and technology. You think big, but when it comes time to execute, you’re pragmatic about program restraints. You are up for a challenge and excited to learn. You do not need a lot of handholding when it comes to getting the job done. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity. What you'll do •Conduct and analyze user research to identify content needs and gaps across user journeys •Consolidate notes from insights and discovery sessions into actionable briefs •Produce content audits and gap analyses for our clients and their competitors •Provide feedback to all contributors to ensure that content aligns to strategy and quality standards •Analyze website content tagging and organization to support web content strategy •Support Sr Strategists in production of strategic marketing playbooks, personas, frameworks or communication strategy deliverables •Develop strategies that put the right content in front of the right person on the right channel at the right time •Advocate for content strategy as a discipline within your immediate team and in the organization at large •Use your expert communication skills to facilitate dialogue between internal and external clients and teams Qualifications Required: •Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, design, English or similar field of study •2+ years owning the content strategy development and execution processes •An understanding of UX, technology, and the role content plays in design •Basic understanding of SEM and SEO •Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently •Strong written and oral communication skills •Understanding of design thinking principles •Ability to work well within a team, taking direction well and asking for help when needed • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at anytime in the future. •Strong time management skills •Ability to give and receive constructive feedback on work products •Flexibility and adaptability •High level of functionality in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). •Experience maintaining project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful events and marketing collateral Preferred: •Previous experience in a marketing or communications role •Familiarity with the principles of design thinking •Familiarity with AP style, grammar fundamentals •Comfort presenting ideas and work in person and via remote technology •Willingness to travel up to 15 percent The team At Heat, we develop traditional, digital and social content for a wide array of consumer and B2B brands at the leading edge of today’s client marketing challenges.
