Business Systems Analyst

Job Description

The Role:

The Business Systems will be responsible for leading the improvement of new and existing business systems in support of operational goals. This role includes evaluating requirements, creating requirements and design documents, and managing major systems changes from design through post-implementation support. Key factors for success will be demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional team to execute a common goal. The role will work with Cost accounting, logistics and NPI teams to ensure smooth Tesla inventory movement across the globe.

Responsibilities:

Define roadmap and customer scenarios for inventory and costing

Work with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders including finance to deliver business specific value.

Work with engineering team to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs, but considers future growth scenarios

Define a set of KPIs to measure customer satisfaction and business impact with the ability to analyze them and utilize them in decision making processes.

Prioritize between existing versus new customers, and between features, architectural improvements and operational excellence

Requirements :

A BS/MS in business/finance/computer science and 1+ years relevant working experience in business analysis.

Knowledge of SQL to run queries.

Experience in gathering and documenting functional and business requirements.

Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate through an ambiguous environment

Ability to deliver results through influence without authority

Basic Finance understanding

Software background (nice to have)
