VP/GM Facilities Manufacturing, Engineering, Tech Development

As the Vice President (VP) and General Manager (GM) of Corporate Services Technology Development (CS TD), you will be responsible for the safe, quality, reliable, and cost-effective operations and maintenance support of the Oregon and California Campus facilities systems in a 24x7 manufacturing and technology development environment. You will own both front of the house facilities services such as cafs, office planning, office facilities, and employee services along with back of the house manufacturing facilities and technology development (TD) facilities. You will also be responsible for management of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) for these sites including: compliance, employee safety, industrial hygiene, new equipment safety evaluations, chemical approvals, and hazard analysis.
This role reports directly to the Vice President and General Manager of Corporate Services and will be responsible for approximately 400 blue badge employees and hundreds of contractors, who operate, maintain, and improve these campuses.
Additional responsibilities include:

• Deliver facilities engineering, maintenance, operations, and commissioning.
• Manage general construction projects for the manufacturing sites.
• Set standards and drive compliance for acceptable work product from external suppliers and vendors across a broad spectrum of services and projects.
• Set the vision and strategic direction for the organization.
• Plan, resource, and direct activities to meet schedules, standards, and cost.
• Cultivate and reinforce appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors. Foster a team culture in which safety, operational excellence, and results orientation are the foundation.
• Drive the technical/engineering skills required to have a world class operations and TD team.
• Lead, foster, and grow our relationships with key stakeholders including: TD, Manufacturing, Fab Construction, and Procurement to drive success.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to build respect and influence at all levels.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and/or Master of Science degree in a Facilities Management or Engineering and 10+ years of experience in facilities management, engineering, or manufacturing.
• 10+ years of experience leading large organizations and proven record of organizational leadership and development of both exempt and non-exempt employees.
