Job Description

Join the Eonite team at Intel/Mobileye
The Eonite team provides almost ground-truth mapping that assists the Mobileye technology. The team builds the algorithm and the application/automation stack around it in order to provide the maps. We are a very small team where each individual contributor can and will wear multiple hats and work on various tools and technologies. We use state-of-the-art tools and methods whenever and wherever possible to optimize our processing time and automate our processes.
Eonite / Sr. Mapping engineer - day activities/responsibilities:
Our Mapping engineer will be working on executing the Eonite stack to provide map and mesh output. The engineer will be working on creating and debugging new and existing scripts to streamline the map processing for the extremely large data sets that we currently collect. The mapping engineer should be able to assist in debugging the code and understanding how to handle and report to the algorithm team issues related to the quality of the output. The mapping engineer should be able to design and maintain scripts and automation tools to enable the mapping process to scale. Maintain scripts that run Eonite compute stack.


Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

6+ years of experience in the following areas

  • Bash scripting.
  • Python scripting.
  • C++ (reading, not writing).
  • Experience with git and source control.
  • Building / basic debugging of software packages (autotools, cmake, make) and figuring out dependencies/compiling/linking issues.
  • VPC/Subnets/EC2/S3/Security Groups on AWS.
  • Familiar with management of IAM policies.
  • Various AWS components and able to suggest appropriate services where applicable.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with setup for CI (Jenkins) and creating build/test/pipelines.
  • Good to have experience with CUDA deployment / installation process.
  • Development background.
  • System tuning experience.
  • Experience with OS customization/building from scratch experience.
  • Good to have package maintaining (building deb/rpm/exe installation packages) background.
  • Experience with Google.
  • Experience with Java.
